Alaskan Halibut Never Tasted So Good
To Cypress Executive Chef Eric Sayers, every dining experience is personal to him. He thoughtfully crafts a menu each month to impress and satisfy the diverse palates and diets of our Cypress Members. Tonight’s dinner, however, is special. Not just special, but exceptional! Since being closed in March due to Covid-19, tonight we open our dining room to the Members. Tonight is a glimpse into a world of normalcy with copious amounts of hand-sanitizer and masks.
Alaskan Halibut was flown in especially for Cypress Members to celebrate the “Welcome Back” dinner. The Cypress Food and Beverage Committee, Life Care Services, DHEC, and the Cypress Food and Beverage Staff tirelessly strategized the reopening plan with the number one priority of safety for both employees and members.
Normal may come with some compromise, but to Chef Eric, Chef Bill DeRoche and Chris Katon, newly promoted to Food and Beverage Director, the quality of the food and dining experience does not.
