Cancel Summer? No Way!
While summertime plans may be hold on for some, at The Cypress of Hilton Head the season of fun and sun is in full swing.
The Cypress has found a way to safely offer the carefree aspects that define summer. The pool is open for water aerobics and individual swim; heat-free balance classes and meditation are being held in the Cypress Hall; the Croquet Lawn and Bocce Ball Court are open for play, and Second Saturday Golf is back on the calendar. The Legacy Library is open to checkout the best summertime reads.
Executive Chef Eric Sayers, Dining Room Manager Chris Katon, Sous Chef Bill DeRoche, and the entire dining and kitchen team plan, prepare and deliver all the seasonal favorites. Lobster, fresh fish, shrimp, and seasonal fruits and vegetables complete the summertime menu. The Fourth of July celebration included a traditional hometown cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs!
Of course none of this would be possible without following the CDC guidelines. Class sizes are limited and sign-ups are a must. In order to meet the demand, The Cypress has added more classes to accommodate the needs of the members.
So put on your sunscreen, grab your floppy hat and don’t forget your mask, ‘cause summer is not cancelled and the sun is shining on The Cypress.
Happy Summer Y’all!
