The Cypress Treasure is Found
Cypress Member Sue MacDonald found the hidden treasure!
She enthusiastically found the chest with instructions tucked inside on how to claim her American Gold Eagle One-Half Ounce Coin worth $1,000. As instructed, the finder was to call a number and use the secret password: GOLD COIN. At 7:08am this morning, Sue dialed the number and anxiously waited for the phone to connect. When it did, she was greeted with a groggy “Hello, this is Becky”. She screamed “GOLD COIN, GOLD COIN!” There was excitement in the air for sure!
When asked how she found it so quickly using only the clues, she said that she and a friend had discussed the possibilities. With the clue “Named for streets that sing”, she started her search at the front entrance of Bird Song Way. The clue “Hurry past the signs”, took her to the building D parking lot. With the final clue “Bring a friend along”, she made her way into Central Bark. She sat on a bench to rest and looked around for the signs and there was the chest!
Congratulations Sue! Your wit and wisdom have never let you down and now you have even more to show for it!
